The GP Louisiana Federal Credit Union is a member owned financial institution offering a full range of financial services to its members. It is the goal of GP Louisiana Federal Credit Union to offer its members these services at the lowest possible cost, while maintaining the highest possible level of service.

It is the purpose and mission of GP Louisiana Federal Credit Union to become the primary financial institution of its members, as permitted by the laws and regulations which govern and regulate the Credit Union.

The Credit Union’s field of membership is open to the employees of the Georgia Pacific Corporation, Georgia Gulf Corporation and other entities as set forth in the membership section.

GP Louisiana Federal Credit Union will strive to attain the maximum yield on the deposits of our members in terms of short term yield and long term growth. The Credit Union will minimize the risk to our members by making prudent financial decisions and by maintaining adequate levels of capital and reserves.

It is also the goal and purpose of the Credit Union to offer the highest level of service attainable for the members while maintaining a strong and stable financial institution. Further, it is the objective of the Credit Union to provide these products and services in consistency with our objective of long term profitability and maximum member benefits.
