Redemptorist seniors hosting toy drive in memory of Sandy Hook victims
Redemptorist High School graduating seniors are hosting a toy drive and they're asking people to donate a toy in memory of the victims killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
The toy drive will be held in conjunction with the Christmas pageant on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at the school, 4000 Saint Gerard Avenue, in Baton Rouge.
"It was just an idea in honor of those children and the other victims," says Senior Clarke Evans. "They're going to be putting a smile on a child's face in honor of another child's memory."
The toys will be donated to Toys for Tots.
