Dennis Lewis, owner of Lewis Wrecker Service died Wednesday, Jan. 16. He was 66.
Lewis Wrecker Service is the oldest running business in Central, according to his family. It has been opened since 1956. Lewis lost his brief battle with cancer yesterday morning surrounded by family.
The funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 21 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Boulevard, in Baton Rouge with a Rosay at 7 p.m. The burial will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22-- 9 a.m. services and 10 a.m. burial-- at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Groom Road in Baker.
The Lewis family wishes to thank everyone for their loyal business over the past 56 years and will continue to serve the community of Central and its surrounding areas.
