Anonymous donor brings smiles to Southern alumni | Events

An anonymous donor brought smiles to all at the Southern University East Baton Rouge Parish Alumni chapter meeting Wednesday night.

The members got an early Valentine's Day present.

A member told the group that a male friend of his called him up and told him to go to Walmart and buy $1500 worth of  candy to "try to make some people happy."

The member says his friend did not want to be identified so he bought the candy and distributed it to various men and women across the city.

President Janet St. Cyr-Moore also brought some Valentine's cupcakes to share with all.
