Southern mourning passing of longtime alumni director | People

The Jaguar Nation is mourning the passing of Donald Wade, former longtime alumni director and national alumni president. 

Wade died Thursday, Sept. 27 after a lengthy illness. He was 77.

"He represented what Southern was all about," Southern University Chancellor Jim Llorens tells 9News Neighborhoods. "He represented us with class and distinction all over the world. The Jaguar Nation will miss him tremendously."
